PATENTS
Patents
are intellectual property rights that can be used to
protect inventions such as articles, devices, and methods
of doing things. A patent is also a monopoly over the
invention granted by the Government for a limited period
of time. The patent gives the patentee the exclusive right
to market the invention in the country the patent covers.
Patentable
inventions include new technologies, and improvements and
modifications of existing products and processes. The
various fields of technology for manufactured products and
